Rivers State House of Assembly has adjusted the 2023 appropriation bill from five hundred and fifty billion Naira to about five hundred and fifty-five billion naira.
The adjustment was to accommodate some items like the registration of WAEC and the Judicial institute which were not captured in the budget.
Speaker of the House, Ikunyi Owaji Ibani granted the leave to adjust the budget estimate after a debate on the report submitted by the Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Enemi Alabo George, before passing it into law.
