The Rivers State Government, says it is unlawful to encroach upon or erect structures within any project right-of-way acquired by the state government.
The State Ministry of Works in a statement today, said such structures erected thereon will be demolished and the costs charged to the defaulter.
The statement reads,
GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
It is unlawful to encroach upon or erect any structure within any government project right-of-way acquired by The Rivers State Government for any of its road or related projects.
Such structures erected thereon will be summarily demolished and the costs charged to the defaulter.
