Sequel to reports emanating from the conduct of Onne Youth Congress Election, the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Ohia Prince Obi had a meeting yesterday with Eleme Local Government Chairman, Onne Youth Congress Election Committee Chairman and aspirants for peace building in attendance.
The Commissioner was bittered with the loss of life of one Mr Amasi Victor who died as a result of gun shot. He further charged the law inforcement agents to investigate the incident.
While frowning at the processes that gave room to the breakdown of law and order during the conduct of the election, the Commissioner also mandated all aspirants to direct the minds of their supporters towards peace as the ministry would strive to resolve the issues.
Ohia advised the contestants to place Onne first before themselves hence, propagate brotherhood rather than enmity.
The Commissioner posited that the state government is poised to protecting the interest of all the youths for the sake of peace.
