The Rivers State Government has announced the commencement of nationwide recruitment into four federal paramilitary agencies and is calling on indigenes of the state to take advantage of the opportunity.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), the Permanent Secretary of the Special Services Bureau (SSB), Sir Dede Sampson Friday, said the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has opened its online portal for applications into the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigerian Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps.
Interested applicants are advised to visit the recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.org for more information and to submit their applications.
The state government emphasized that each candidate is permitted to apply to only one of the agencies and that no fees are required at any stage of the application process.
Local Government Chairmen and other relevant stakeholders have been urged to raise awareness among eligible youths in their communities.
“The application is free of charge,” the statement reiterated.
