The Rivers State Government has threatened to sanction private schools that fail to resume on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
The State Commissioner for Education, Ovy Chukwuma, issued the warning when he visited schools across the state to ascertain the level of resumption compliance to the 2024/2025 academic calendar.
He frowned at some private schools for failing to comply with the resumption date and expressed satisfaction with the compliance of public schools.
