The Rivers State Ministry of Water Resources, says it will begin total clampdown of fake water factories in Port Harcourt and its environs in January 2022.
The Ministry, in a statement said anyone caught in the act will be dealt with in accordance with the laws of the land.
It stated that there is no escape route for such persons as they are working with security agencies to end the menace.
The State Water Ministry, also said it has concluded days of intensive training for staff on how to monitor fake water.
“…No escape route for fake water factories. We will begin total clampdown in January. We have concluded days of intensive training for staff on how to monitor fake water…” it said
The ministry had few months ago sealed up fake water companies and also arrested its owners.
