The Rivers State Government says it will appeal the judgement of the Federal High Court restraining the CBN From further releasing monthly allocation to the state government.
The state Commissioner for Information, Joe Johnson disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, shortly after the ruling.
He said the government has filed an appeal against the judgement noting that it would not stand.
He also said if the judgement is allowed to stand, it will affect local government workers, urging Rivers residents to pray for the current administration.
