The Rivers State Government has confirmed that Gov. Sim Fubara sent names of the nine resigned commissioners to the state Assembly for screening and possible reappointment as commissioners.
The state commissioner for Information, Joe Johnson made this known during a radio interview in Port Harcourt Today.
He said the names were sent as part of efforts towards implementing the peace deal brokered by President Tinubu in Abuja few weeks ago.
As you may know there have been controversy as to who actually sent the names of the resigned commissioners to the assembly for screening.
