The Rivers State Government has blasted the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Tony Okocha for linking Gov. Sim Fubara to the attack on its Secretariat.
Tony Okocha, had in a statement on Tuesday, accused the State Governor of sponsoring thugs to vandalize its Secretariat in Port Harcourt during the #EndBadGovernance protest.
Reacting, the State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Joe Johnson described the allegation as a figment of Okocha’s imagination.
According to him, Fubara has never been linked to violence, and has no hand in the destruction of Okocha’s secretariat, adding that the only known APC Secretariat in GRA was not attacked.
