The Rivers State Government, in collaboration with the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) and Philips Consulting (PCL), has organized a training on transformational leadership and accountable service for local government officials across the state.
The programme, which commenced on Monday, brought together newly elected local government chairmen, vice chairmen, and legislative leaders, including the Chairman and Vice Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area.
According to the organizers, the training is designed to equip grassroots leaders with the knowledge and strategies required to deliver people-oriented, transparent, and accountable governance in their various councils.
