The Rivers State Government says beginning from August ,1 2024 all commercial vehicles must be painted with the official colour approved by the state government.
Commissioner for Transport, Collins Onunwo disclosed this during a meeting with the leadership of the National Union of Road Transport Workers at his office in Port Harcourt.
He said the directive is to properly identify commercial vehicles, so as to easily identify criminal elements posing as commercial drivers.
