The Rivers State Government has commenced the demolition of properties around the AIT office in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
Sources say make-shift buildings close to the AIT complex have been demolished.
The Rivers State Government had issued a 48-hour notice to Daar Communications to leave the premises.
Recall that the NUJ and other relevant stakeholders have appealed to the state government not to demolish the property.
The Company had also appealed to the government not go ahead with the demolition, noting that the matter is in court.
