Former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho has named Barcelona legend, Lionel Messi as the greatest player of this generation.
Mourinho said this when asked one player who he wished he had signed during an interview on TNT Sports, and the Portuguese tactician wasted no time in mentioning the Argentine World cup winner.
“Of course I would have to say the little guy,” Mourinho answered, in reference to eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi. “But the little guy was not coachable. But I have to say, in our generation, he was the best,” he said.
Recall that Mourinho was recently appointed as manager of Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
