The acting Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Prince Ohia, has vowed to surpass all environmental cleanliness record in Nigeria, emphasizing his commitment to making Port Harcourt a cleaner and more attractive city.
Speaking during a meeting with contractors at RIWAMA’s office in Port Harcourt on Monday, Ohia expressed confidence in the agency’s capabilities despite all odds.
“My dream is to beat the record Calabar has set,” he stated, highlighting the need for collective efforts to achieve this vision,” he said.
Ohia praised the contractors for their dedication over the past year, noting that private observers had commented on the city’s cleanliness and calmness.
He urged them to maintain their momentum and redouble their efforts in the current year to enhance service delivery even further.
