Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers state, Sen. Magnus Abe has confirmed that he will challenge the outcome of the March 18th governorship election in court.
Abe in a statement said he is very happy that he did not win the election in the circumstances in which some people claimed to have won.
Abe also said he always wins because he brings a clear message of hope, opportunities, possibilities and leadership that cares, and is committed to the welfare and progress of citizens.
“I am very happy that I did not win the election in the circumstances in which some people claim to have won…” he said.
“I win by bringing a clear message of hope, of opportunities, of possibilities, of a leadership that cares and is committed to the welfare and progress of the citizens and convincing people that that kind of world is possible and achievable. That is how I have always won, that is how I will always win. Any other kind of victory is unacceptable to me” he added.
The Rivers SDP governorship candidate who came third in the poll condemned the ongoing political unrest in the state and called for calm.
