Governorship candidate of Young Progressive Party in the just concluded election in Rivers State, Hon. Dagogo Wenike Briggs, has reportedly withdrawn his petition from the election Tribunal.
Briggs had gone to the Tribunal with other candidates to challenge the emergence of Sim Fubara as governor of the state.
Recall that the tribunal which was relcated to Abuja due to security concerns began sitting few days ago.
Candidates of the APC, Tonye Cole and Beatrice Itubo of Labour party are still in the tribunal challenging Fubara’s victory
