Some cart pushers were yesterday arrested by youths of Emouha Local Area, while vandalizing electric poles.

The incident reportedly occurred in one of the communities in the LGA.

They were later handed over to the Police.

Reacting to the incident, Chairman of Emouha Local Government Area, Hon. Chidi Lloyd commended the youths for the act.

According to him, residents should be mindful of the activities of cart pushers in the area, as most of them are criminals vandalizing and stealing public property.

He warned all those involved in the illegal activity to desist, as anyone caught would be severly punished in accordance with the laws of the land.

He also warned POS operators to be mindful of fraudsters in the area.
