Former militant leader and Niger Delta activist, Asari Dokubo has accused the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike of sponsoring thugs against opposition parties in Rivers State.
Asari, who made this known in a statement few days ago also alleged that Wike is preventing other political parties from having access to space to campaign.
He noted that these spaces are not government spaces, but traditional spaces.
Dokubo revealed that Gov. Wike is making the political space in the state unfriendly, and oppressing opposition parties in the state with what he described as “illegal executive orders”
He also alleged that the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Sen. Magnus Abe has been attacked more than once in the state since campaigns began.
