A woman identified as Ugbonma last night bathed her husband with hot oil while he was asleep.
The incident occured in Okehi community, Etche local government area of Rivers State.
A source said the couple had a fight in the morning before the man left the house and came back in the evening not knowing that the wife was still aggrieved over the incident.
She said while the man was asleep the wife bathed him with the hot oil leaving him with multiple burns.
“They had a little misunderstanding in d morning,no fight. Later in the night,she planned with her younger sister around 2am and execute this,” she said.
