Labour Party Governorship candidate in Rivers State, Beatrice Itubo says she visited Gov. Sim Fubara to sue for peace in the ongoing crisis rocking the state.
Itubo who made this known in a statement on Friday debunked claims that the visit was connected to the governorship election case in court.
The former NLC chairman who condemned the ongoing crisis, says it is affecting the economy of the state.
She called on the FCT Minister to sheath his sword in the interest of peace, and warned those inciting crisis in the state to desist from it.
Recall that Itubo had few days ago visited Gov. Fubara with many suggesting that she was set to defect from Labour party to the PDP.
