Immediate past Minister of Transportation and former governor of Rivers state, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi has said that his administration built five flyovers in the state without making noise.
The Rivers APC leader said this during a stakeholders meeting at Orogbum Civic Center in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
He also said his administration employed over 300 doctors, bought them cars and gave each of them two bedroom flats.
According to him, he did not acquire people’s properties as a governor adding that Rivers money should be for those living in the state and not outsiders.
He also said he generated employment while in office noting that Rivers state is the highest in unemployment Today.
“I came to energize the party. We built five fly_overs and we did not make noise.We employed over 300 doctors , bought them cars and they lived in two bedroom flats,” he said.
“Rivers money is supposed to be for those living in Rivers State not outsiders.As a former Governor,I did not buy people’s property. We created employments, today Rivers State is is the highest in unemployment,” he added.
