The management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education in Rivers State has warned against all forms of extortion(sorting) before and after examination.
The Senate of the university in a memo dated August 28, 2024, signed by the acting registrar of the institution Dr. C. A. Ajie, also warned against extorting students who buy recommended textbooks late.
The Senate also outlawed the use of Course Reps by lecturers.
The University management urged lectures to obey the directive, and warned that anyone found wanting would face disciplinary actions.
