A University student in Rivers State identified as Harry Taylor Songo, has died following a suspected case of food poisoning.
Songo, a Computer Engineering student, reportedly began vomiting and experiencing seizures after eating a meal from a street vendor near his residence. He was pronounced dead around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday.
University authorities and health officials have yet to confirm the exact cause of death, but food poisoning is suspected. The incident has sparked concern among students, many of whom are mourning the sudden loss.
