A man has been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen in Bodo community, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The incident occured in the area on Monday.
According to DailyPost, the hoodlums are reported to have invaded the community following a planned protest on Monday by indigenes of the community over the controversy that led to the killing of two youths from the area a few weeks ago.
It said the victims were killed by gunmen at a pipeline surveillance site but one of their targets escaped with a bullet injury.
Sources say indigenes now live in fear following the incident.
