Rivers United has qualified for the money spinning group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup after failing to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League.
The Nigerian champions qualified after they drew 1-1 with Al Nasr in Libya to go through 6-1 on aggregate.
Rivers United won the first leg 5-0 at home in Port Harcourt last week thus booking the ticket to the lucrative group stage.
