Rivers United on Sunday, crashed out of the first round of the CAF champions league after a 1-0 defeat to Al Hilal of Sudan in Egypt.
The first leg ended 1-1 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, after too many missed chances.
With the defeat, Rivers United will now feature in the CAF Confederation cup play off round.
Wike had promised the team a $100,000 if they defeat Al Hilal and book a place in the money-spinning group stages of the competition.
