A two-storey building under construction at Agboga in IGWURUTA community, Ikwerre local government area of Rivers State has collapsed. The incident occurred on Sunday evening.
We gathered that about six persons were inside the building when it collapsed, and that four of them have been rescued as rescue mission is still ongoing.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Hon. Israel Abosi has visited the site to commiserate the with victims.
He was accompanied by the ommissioner for special duties Hon. Sam Anya, the Chairman of Action Peoples Party, Ikwerre Local Government Engr. Newton Amadi, leader of simplified Hon Dennis Amadi, among others.
