The Presidential Campaign Council of the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State has condemned the Executive Order 21 and 22 by the Rivers State Government.
Spokesperson of the council, Dr. Leloonu Nwibubasa during a press conference yesterday said the order is political.
He revealed that there are plots by Gov. Wike to intimidate, sabotage, blackmail, harrass and prosecute supporters of Atiku Abubakar in the state.
According o him, supporters of the PDP Presidential candidate are patriots and not enemies of the state.
Nwibubasa stated that Atiku is the only presidential candidate that has shown genuine passion, commitment, dedication, loyalty, preparedness and economic blueprint to recover and revamp the nation.
“Atiku is the only presidential candidate that has shown genuine passion, commitment, dedication, readiness, loyalty, preparedness and true economic blueprint to rescue, recover, revamp, reunite, reinvigorate and reposition the country,” he said.
He evealed that over 73 Interest support groups have declared support for Atiku/Okowa, and that 23 LGA Coordinators for different coalition were nominated and submitted by the various LGAs.
Leloonu Nwibubasa who is also BOT of People’s Mandate Rivers State chapter read the press release on the directive of State leadership of Rivers State chapter of PDP presidential campaign Council ably led by the Chairman, Senator Lee Maeba and Campaign Director General DG, Chief Dr. Abiye Precious Sekibo.
The council also felicitated with Atiku on the occasion of his 76th birthday.
