The Rivers State chapter of the Federal Government Public Works Selection Committee, yesterday submitted the list of 23,000 persons from the state for the program.
The Chairman of the Selection Committee, Dr. Innocent Barikor led other members of the committee to the office of Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour in Abuja to submit the list.
The Special Works Programme was initiated by the federal government to help curb the menace of unemployment in the country.
