The female and male students of a Government Secondary School in Port Harcourt, arrested for kissing in class during lecture hours have been released unconditionally.
Prince Wiro, a member of the Centre for Basic Rights and Accountability Campaign who disclosed this in a statement Today said the students were released unconditionally after his intervention.
He stated that the management of the school were advised by the Police to settle the matter internally.
“The S.S. 2 Female,Male Students And Two Other Male Students Of A Government Secondary School Arrested By Nkpolu Police Division,Mile 3 Diobu, PortHarcourt On Instance Of A Government School Management In The Area Over Kissing And Romancing In Class Room During School Hours Has Been Released Unconditionally And The Management Of The School Has Been Advised By The Police To Handle The Matter Internally,” he said.
“The UnconditionallyThey Will andlease Followed My Intervention On The Matter,” he added.
