Mrs. Ibimonia Sotonye Harry has been appointed as the new Acting Registrar of the Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt.
Acting Public Relations Officer of the institution, Victor G. Banigo disclosed this in a statement Today.
Until her appointment, Mrs. I. B. S. Harry was the Director, Council Affairs Directorate and the most senior Director in the University. She replaces Dr Sydney C. Enyindah who completed his tenure as Registrar of the University.
The Acting Registrar, Mrs. I. B. S. Harry, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Post Graduate Diploma in Education and a Master of Arts degree in Law and Diplomacy.
She joined the services of the University on the 18th of January, 1990 and rose through the ranks to the position of a Director in February, 2016.
Her appointment takes effect from 8th March, 2024.
