Rivers State University has debunked a document published on social media, purported to be the list of candidates for employment at the university.
According to NigeriaInfo, Registrar of the university, Sydney Eyindah in a statement said no responsible university will publish such classified information in any public media or medium.
Dr Eyindah asked the public to ignore the list, describing it as frivolous. He said all persons who applied for employment and who are duly interviewed are requested to approach the university authority to ascertain their status.
A list containing names of Rivers state indigenes has been trending online, as the new employees’ list of the state-owned institution.
