The Rivers State Tourism Development Agency is set to launch the Culture, Heritage, Rhythm and Advocacy for Covid-19 Enlightenment (CHRACE) challenge.
The challenge, which commences on Friday, 17 April, entails the following from willing participants from the 23 Local Government Areas in the state to:
- Dress in traditional costumes
- Do a one-minute dance routine unique to their community or Sing a two-minute folk song in a capella or accompanied by local instruments
- Interested parties can participate as individuals or as a family unit (Please observe Social Distancing)
- Record presentations with mobile phones or other recording devices and UPLOAD, FOLLOW and TAG – RSTDA & Yibo Koko on; Facebook, Twitter & Instagram
- The Winner(s) will be rewarded with cash gifts.
This challenge, according to the organisers is designed to encourage people stay safely at home amid COVID-19.
