A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Tonye Cole has gifted newly elected Local Government party Chairmen in the state, one cow each.
Cole, while delivering the items at the State Party Secretariat in Port Harcourt, today, said the act is to appreciate the chairmen for their solidarity behind the newly elected state Chairman of the party, Chief Emeka Beeke.
He stated that the kind gesture is also to celebrate his graduation from the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru.
He urged the chairmen to continue to support the state chairman to move the party to greater heights.
He also called for intra-party cohesion, adding that the party is on course to takeover Brick House in 2023.
The Chairmen, on their part commended Tonye Cole for the kind gesture, while promising to work for the success of the party.
