The Rivers State Commissioner of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Mr Ilamu Arugu has presented a cash prize of One Hundred Thousand Naira to the best staff of the ministry for the month of November as a way of motivating and boosting the morale of its workforce for optimal service delivery
Mr ilumu Arugu had last month, announced a monthly cash reward for staff of the ministry who performed exceptionally.
Presenting the award, the State Commissioner for Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Ilamu Arugu emphasized the importance of recognizing and rewarding hard work and excellence.
The Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Commissioner noted that the award was a personal initiative aimed at motivating staff to strive for excellence in their work and encouraged other staff members to emulate Aroumo’s example and strive for excellence in their respective duties.
In his acceptance speech, Umoroduah Aroumo expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Commissioner and the ministry’s leadership for recognizing his efforts and promised to give in more to the job.
