Rivers state recorded 10 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 16,270 with 15,834 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Wednesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 230 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -115, Gombe -29, FCT -24, Imo -20, Rivers -10, Ondo-9, Kano-5, Abia-4, Kaduna-4, Oyo-4, Kebbi-2, Ogun-2, Borno-1 and Jigawa-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 251,571 with 225,280 discharged and 3117 deaths.
The NCDC, has warned Nigerians to obey all covid-19 protocol.
