The Rivers State Ministry of Culture and Tourism has initiated new collaborations aimed at attracting investment to the tourism sector, according to Commissioner Israel Ngbuelo.
Ngbuelo revealed the development on Wednesday during a visit to the Paramount Ruler of Opobo Kingdom, King Dandison Jaja, in Opobo. He stated that the partnerships are expected to enhance the state’s internally generated revenue.
“Rivers has abundant tourism potential spread across its 23 local government areas,” Ngbuelo said, emphasizing the untapped opportunities available in the state.
He further noted that the administration of Governor Siminalaye Fubara is dedicated to fully harnessing the state’s tourism resources to drive economic growth.
