Chairman of the Rivers State Road Maintenance Agency, Timothy Nsirim says stolen manhole covers will now be replaced with concretes.
Nsirim, who made this known yesterday, condemned the stealing of manhole covers across the state.
He also said on going projects in the state is responsible for the delay in rehabilitation work on some roads.
He stated that if they commence rehabilitation work now, the city will be completely shutdown, as there would be no other alternative routes for motorists.
Nsirim equally blamed property developers in the state for the delay. This is for dumping wastes on the road.
He added that by January, Ferbuary the issue would be a thing of the past.
