The Rivers State Neighbourhood Watch Safety Corps, has announced that it will resume operations this month.
Uche Mike-Chukwuma, Director-General of the Agency made this known in a chat with journalists today.
He said members of the Corps have been trained and are ready to work.
He also said all legal tussles which were stopping the Corps from resuming operations, have now been cleared.
He noted that the Corp will help in complementing the efforts of security agencies, as the nation needs proper community policising driven by local people and not the Federal Government.
