Rivers State has been listed as the fourth most indebted state in the country by the Debt Management Office.
The DMO said debt figure of the state was N225,505,011,356.55 as at September 30, 2021.
It said many states have borrowed more between the first and second quarters of the year 2022.
Lagos, Delta and Ogun were listed as the states with the highest domestic debt figures in the country.
