The Rivers State Judiciary has again denied claims by Chairman of Emohua local government area, Chidi Lloyd that a notorious kidnapper – Nwanburoke Nwosu popularly known as Abiotu was released during one of its jail delivery exercise.
Registrar of the State High Court, Ihua Maduenyi in a statement in Port Harcourt today, said they have gone through the list and cannot find Abiotu’s name.
He said the allegation by the council chairman is misleading and warned him to desist from making such claims.
He aslo warned Hon. Lloyd to desist from mentioning the name of the Chief Judge of the state – Simeon Amadi on insecurity issues in the area.
Recall that Hon. Lloyd had on different occassions said Nwanburoke was released during a jail delivery exercise few months ago, and that he is responsible for the upsurge of kidnappings in the council.
