NDONI, RIVERS STATE — The Rivers State Commissioner for Health, Hon. Dr. Adaeze Chidimma Oreh, on Monday, May 19, 2025, donated science laboratory equipment to Government Secondary School, Ndoni, in a move aimed at supporting science education and community development.
The donation followed a report by the school’s science teacher, Mr. Nnanna Peter, who raised concerns over the theft of essential laboratory tools and chemicals. In response, Dr. Oreh dispatched a team led by Hon. Engr. Kingsley Okwuosa to deliver the equipment.
During the presentation, Okwuosa urged school authorities to ensure the safety and effective use of the donated materials. The equipment was formally handed over to the school’s principal, Mr. Solomon Nnadim, by Hon. Chief Sunday Ezenwaokolo JP.
The principal, alongside staff and student leaders, expressed appreciation for the intervention. Other members of the commissioner’s team present at the handover included Hon. Nwike Opene, Ms. Nkiru Ikwuogwu, and Mr. Ederor Amaechi Akiss.
