The Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral (Rtd) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, has acknowledged the significant contributions of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to the state’s development over the years.
Speaking during the NDDC 25th Anniversary Plenary Session held in Port Harcourt, Ibas highlighted key areas where the state has benefited from the Commission’s interventions, including road construction, rural electrification, youth empowerment, as well as water and healthcare projects.
While admitting that the journey had not been without its challenges, he emphasized that the impact of the NDDC’s projects across the state was both visible and substantial.
