Seigha Edwin Adedeji, SA on Social/New Media to the suspended Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara has dismissed social media reports claiming Governor Siminalayi Fubara is seeking asylum at the Bayelsa Government House or attending the PDP Governor’s Forum meeting in Asaba.
In a statement, Adedeji labeled the claims as false and urged the public to disregard them, attributing the misinformation to detractors.

Our attention has been drawn to misleading reports circulating on social media, earlier today claiming that His Excellency, the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, is seeking asylum at the Bayelsa State Government House, along with other photos suggesting his presence at the PDP Governor’s Forum meeting in Asaba, Delta State.
We categorically state that these reports are false and should be disregarded. They are the handiwork of detractors bent on spreading misinformation.
We urge the public to rely only on verified sources for accurate information.
