The Rivers State Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday resumed sitting with the hearing of the petition filed by governorship candidate of the All Progressives candidate, Tonye Cole.
Other petitions at the Tribunal include that of Labour Party candidate, Beatrice Itubor. The petitioners are challenging the emergence of Sim Fubara as winner of the election.
The Tribunal was relocated to Abuja over security concerns in Rivers State.
Meanwhile, Tonye Cole yesterday expressed satisfaction that the tribunal has commenced sitting.
