The Rivers State Cash Transfer Office, in collaboration with the National Social Safety-Nets Project (Scale-Up) and the Etche Local Government Cash Transfer Unit, have announced the issuance of ATM cards to Phase One beneficiaries of the programme.

According to the official notice, the distribution exercise is scheduled to hold on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Etche Local Government Council Headquarters, Okehi, beginning at 9:00 a.m. prompt.

The Chairman of Etche Local Government Area, Chief Hon. Chima Boniface Njoku, has urged all eligible beneficiaries to turn out in large numbers to collect their ATM cards.

The initiative, part of the National Social Safety-Nets Programme, aims to reduce poverty and improve the welfare of poor and vulnerable households across Etche Local Government Area and the state at large.
