In continuum of the courtesy visits to relevant agencies in Rivers State, the State Working Committee (Caretaker) of the All Progressives Congress, Rivers State, led by Chief Tony C Okocha KSC JP DSSRS, the State Chairman of APC, who doubles as the Honourable Commissioner Representing Rivers State in the NDDC Board, visited the Rivers State Office of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps today.
The team was warmly received by Commandant Basil Igwebueze, the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Rivers State Command.
During his speech, Chief Okocha expressed that the purpose of the visit was to seek the cooperation and services of the Command for the party (APC) and the NDDC Commission.
In response, Commandant Igwe Basil commended Chief Okocha and his team for their important visit. He assured them that the State Command would always be open to providing any assistance required by the party and the NDDC Commission.
The apogee of the visit was the presentation of an ‘Award of Excellence’ to Chief Tony C Okocha by the Rivers State Commandant of the NSCDC.
