Some candidates in the 2019 governorship election in Rivers State, have called on people of the state, to join them in persuading the sole administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency, Felix Obuah to contest the 2023 governorship election.
Chairman of the group, Samuel Ihunwo in a statement over the weekend, said the call became necessary after due consultations with relevant stakeholders in the state.
According to him, Obuah is a generous and selfless leader, who has what it takes to sustain the legacies of Gov. Nyesom Wike and also take the state to another level.
He noted that during Obuah’s tenure as Rivers PDP Chairman, the party won 90 percent of all elections conducted in 2015 and 2019.
Pst. Samuel revealed that the state will witness massive turnaround in Education, Healthcare, Human Capital Development, Infrastructures amongst others, if Obuah is elected.
