The Campaign Council of APC Senatorial Candidate for Rivers South East Senatorial District in the February 25th National Assembly election, Oji Ngofa says its candidate won the just concluded election.

The council in a statement said the PDP candidate, Barry Mpigi who was declared winner of the poll did not win the election.

It alleged that the process was all about malfeasance, hijack, intimidation, Police assault and broad-day dare-devilish robbery of a Peoples’ Mandate in connivance with a compromised INEC system, and called on the people to remain calm as their mandate will be reclaimed in court.

The statement reads,

ON OJI NGOFA’S MANDATE WE STAND.

Let it be sounded loud and clear; Mr. Barry Mpigi did not defeat Chief Hon. Ambassador Oji Ngofa on 25th February, 2023.

It was all about malfeasance, hijack, intimidation, Police assault and broad-day dare-devilish robbery of a Peoples’ Mandate in connivance with a compromised INEC system.

And our true certified copies of election results shall prove this in due course. Let’s all maintain calm as every due diligence is applied to RECLAIM OUR STOLEN MANDATE.
