The Social Democratic Party in Rivers State yesterday, inaugurated campaign council of the party ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The event took place at Freedom House, the campaign office of Abe, in GRA, Port Harcourt.
The SDP candidate, Magnus Abe who charged members of the council to work for the success of the party, said there are plans by the ruling party to intimidate electorates from voting their preferred candidates in the forthcoming elections.
Abe reiterated that he is committed to building a new Rivers State where justice and equity will be the order of the day.
He urged Rivers people to vote for the SDP to see what they have not seen before.
